This point of view footage gives a first person insight into gliding down a steep ice slide. Teacher Ayaana Osipova, 27, from Yakutsk, Russia, went to visit the ice festival in Yakutsk city with her husband Aleksey and a few friends. The ice festival is a park full of ice sculptures and ice slides which craftsmen create for the special event and many of the locals from Yakutsk visit the ice park throughout winter. Ayaana and Aleksey decided to have a go on one of the ice slides and gave us a first person perception of the slope. At seven metres tall and 180m long, the cold slide looked daunting to Ayaana at first before they finally took the plunge.
