New Thar 1650MW Power Plant Supplying Cheap Electricity To Sindh | Gwadar CPEC
Neither the fear of theft nor the fear of robbery, nor the worry of environmental pollution nor the feeling of alienation. This is the Thar desert of Sindh province of Pakistan, where culture, tradition and values still exist in their original form. Thar is one of the major deserts of the world, it is also called the friendly desert because compared to other desert areas. It is easy to access here and it is not an ordinary desert but a guarantee of Pakistan's bright development where there is coal to generate electricity for more than a hundred years. 1650 MW power projects have been inaugurated here in Thar. 1320 MW Shanghai Electric Thar and 330 MW Thal Navathar projects have been inaugurated here in Tharparkar and remember these Thar coal fired projects will generate 11.24 billion low cost electricity units annually. The current generation of electricity will increase to 3300 MW while the projects have been constructed with a direct investment of $3.53 billion.
