In today’s video we are going to renovate our most used gates. We are cast a new concrete foundation for the posts, build a new frame and refurbished the old gates so we can use them again. We are also going to make a French drain at the sheep feeding station so they don’t have to stand on wet soil when they eat this winter. We are also going to fit brand new LED lights on our tractor both in the front and rare so it is ready to be used to clear snow this winter.
For those that are new here my name is Eirik. Me and my wife bought this abandoned farm on the vest side of Norway 10 years ago. The land had not been farmed in more than 50 years and the buildings where in a bad shape but worst of all the once so magnificent stone and wood barn had completely collapsed. We have been working hard to renovate this farm for us and our two children. Our gold for this farm is to bring it back to its full potential and to make it in to a source of income.
