North Carolina went on the road and snapped a 4-game winning streak that the Miami Hurricanes were on with their 69-60 victory in Coral Gables. Maria Gakdeng was a force inside throughout the game for the Heels, as she finished the game with 21 points on 7-11 shooting from the floor to go along with 12 rebounds in the win. Alyssa Ustby also put up a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds of her own while dishing out 4 assists and collecting 4 steals and a block, and Indya Nivar added 11 points, 5 assists and 3 steals for UNC. Haley Cavinder finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Jasmyne Roberts scored 19 points to help pace Miami in the loss. The Carolina defense was fierce, forcing 15 Hurricanes' turnovers that led to 19 points.
