Cut and come again lettuce harvesting is the best way to extend your lettuce harvest. In this video, I’ll show you how to get 5-6 rounds of harvest out of your lettuce plants, as well as how to wash and store your lettuce for fresh salads all season long.
I harvested all sorts of lettuce in this video, but one of my favorites is an heirloom variety called Grandma Hadley's Lettuce from Seed Savers Exchange.
You’ll need a few items to make the lettuce harvest process go as smoothly as possible
Colander
Large bowl
Gardening gloves
Large, clean water basin for cleaning
Tea towels
Paper towels
Gallon-size Ziploc bags
The lettuce cleaning and storage method I share in this video keeps lettuce fresh in the refrigerator for several weeks. Give it a try!
