Chandrababu Naidu is set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) sweeps the state in the 2024 state Assembly elections.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has already secured victory in one Assembly seat and is leading in another 132. Meanwhile, another NDA coalition member, Janasena Party (JSP) is leading in 20 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has managed to make inroads in the state, leading in seven seats.

Election Results 2024 Lok Sabha Live Updates: Counting of votes will kick off at 8 am tomorrow and you can keep your eyes on our blog or the Election Commission of India website for where the numbers stand. Vote counting will begin on Tuesday, June 4, at 8 am, for the Lok Sabha election, the state legislative assemblies of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, bye-elections.
All eyes will be on the Lok Sabha election results on Tuesday, featuring many high-profile electoral battles. The voting for the 543-member Lok Sabha (Surat and Indore seat went unopposed) took place over seven phases from April 19 to June 1.
The results will determine who will form India’s next government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be seeking a third straight term in office, while the Congress party-led opposition will be hoping to upstage them.
The mega seven-phase Lok Sabha elections concluded on Saturday and the country is now eagerly waiting to know who will form the government at the Centre. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is eyeing a third consecutive term at the Centre. On the other side is the INDIA bloc, which includes the Congress and dozens other non-BJP parties.
Polling for the 2024 general elections, covering 543 parliamentary constituencies, started on April 19, followed by the second phase on April 26, the third on May 7, the fourth on May 13, the fifth on May 20, the sixth on May 25 and the last phase on June 1.
