This is my pictorial review of the Hot Toys Sonar Suit Batman from Batman Forever. In terms of the headsculpt and the aesthetics of the suit, I would give it a 10 out of 10, articulation is a 6 out of 10 (the joints are all there, they're just hindered by the suit) and the physical quality of the suit is probably a 7 out of 10 since the arms bunch up in dynamic poses (as you can see from the pictures in this review) and the cape is just a lackluster re-use of the Tactical Suit cape from the Justice League Tactical Suit Batman. The eyes are also really a pain to take out of the cowl if you want to switch to the Sonar eyes or move the eyes via the PERS system. Also, the Sonar Suit itself really isn't one of my favorites but I'm a huge Val Kilmer fan and I have a lot of nostalgic love for Batman Forever and there's no guarantee that Hot Toys will ever release the black "Panther suit" that Batman wears for the rest of the movie, so this purchase was a no brainer for me. So, overall I give it an 8 out of 10, but if I were to judge it purely on an aesthetic basis, it's easily a 10 out of 10 for that Val Kilmer headsculpt and tge beauty of the suit, even though the suit itself really isn't one of my favorites.
The epic Batman theme is a mashup of the Mask of the Phantasm and The Batman theme and is performed by Samuel Kimm, I own nothing here but the figures in the review.
