Jerry recorded two different versions of “Smile”, this one in 1967, and an uptempo version in 1972. This is the better of the two recordings. “Smile” was written by Charlie Chaplin in 1936 for his silent film “Modern Times” starring him and Paulette Goddard. The video is the movie scene where the instrumental version of “Smile” was used.
