In a veiled jibe at the newly formed Opposition bloc 'INDIA', the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "The Quit India Movement filled new energy into the steps of India towards attaining freedom. Inspired by this, today the entire country is saying 'Quit India' for all evils."
PM Modi's sharp attack came after laying the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations. He noted that the Quit India Movement had begun on August 9, 1942. He said the Quit India Movement fostered fresh energy towards attaining India's freedom and the country today, was determined to wipe out all evils from the country.
