Murata GQM22 Capacitors Murata extended its popular line of GQM capacitors with GQM22 high-frequency monolithic ceramic capacitors. GQM22 product line includes the world's top multilayer ceramic capacitors equipped with electrodes made of base metals. These capacitors are designed for the rated voltage of 500 Volts. GQM22 capacitors offer a high quality, small capacity allowance and perfect high-frequency performance. Though it is well known that base metal electrodes allow reducing losses and improve performance, such electrodes did not enjoy wide use until recently as they have restrictive parameter adjustment requirements and firing conditions. Murata employed its own material engineering achievements and an innovative ceramic co-firing technology in GQM22 capacitors which allowed using base metal electrodes. GQM22 capacitors are a perfect choice for matching and connecting circuits used in power amplifiers of mobile communication equipment, WiMax and LTE base stations and other similar radio-frequency devices. Together with other available Murata's capacitors designed for the rated voltage of 100 and 250 volts, GQM22 line will offer you high performance and low equivalent series resistance within VHF, UHF and gigahertz ranges. These innovative capacitors provide 40% performance improvement at 1 megahertz as compared to Murata's general-purpose capacitors intended for medium and high frequencies. GQM22 dimensions are as follows: 2.8 mm per 2.8 mm per 1.15 mm with the capacity varying from 0.5 to 100 picofarad. That's why you can easily use such capacitors in the equipment requiring small allowance i.e. the capacity allowance is ±0,1 picofarad. These capacitors sustain constant voltage of 1250 volts and work within the temperature range from -55 to +125 °C.
