New Delhi, May 13 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday departed for his six-day three nation tour. He will begin his visit from Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province, the first stop of his three-day China visit. PM Modi's decision to start his trip from Shaanxi province is being seen as reciprocal gesture after Chinese President Xi Jinping had started his India trip from Gujarat, Modi's home state. President Jinping is scheduled to take PM Modi on a tour of the iconic Wild Goose Pagoda built in 6th century AD in recognition of monk Xuan Zang's contribution in popularizing Buddhism. PM Modi will also be given a traditional Chinese imperial Tang dynasty welcome before Modi and Jingping would settle for a banquet. The two leaders are expected to have talks on the border issue, China's push for Maritime Silk Road (MSR) project over which India has reservations and India's big push for Chinese investments which will not happen without the nod from Beijing.
