In this short video we will be Hiking in the Bosque de Cobre, which translated into English it can be known as the Copper Forest, due to its vibrant colours in Autumn, but for simplicity, we will stick with el "Bosque de Cobre"
The Bosque de Cobre is located mainly in the Valle Genal, which is part of the landscape of the Serranía de Ronda.
It receives its name due to the golden colour of the leaves from the chestnut trees, and it offers, one of the most stunning autumn landscapes views in the interior of the province of Malaga, where you will come across a range of yellow, brown, orange and ocher colours. Just spectacular!
The municipalities within the Bosque de Cobre area are: Alpandeire, Benadalid, Benalauría, Cartajima, Faraján, Genalguacil, Igualeja, Jubrique, Júzcar, Parauta, Pujerra y Yunquera.
This video was filmed doing the circular route of Parauta - Igualeja and back to Parauta.
