Dr. Joshua Stolker, Associate Professor of Medicine, Saint Louis University School of Medicine, describes case involving a patient with ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) who was imaged using TVC Imaging System. The near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) data did not show lipid core plaque or a ruptured plaque, and the need for a stent was eliminated.
