China’s social media users are rising to a new internet challenge, called the Falling Stars challenge, to show off their worldly possessions. Participants post photos of themselves lying face down on the street, posing as if they had tripped while getting out of their cars and spilled their bags, accessories and even wads of cash all over the place.
