An 8-year-old boy is dead after an ATV crashed in the Navasota area.
The accident occurred around 12 pm on Deep Forest Trail. The child was found pinned beneath the four-wheeler with fatal injuries. According to Sheriff Don Sowell, the child's family, who lives in the Houston area, was nearby at the time. A second passenger, an older teenager, was reportedly in the ATV, but officials are uncertain if the teen was injured.
