Video of Audubon’s Coastal Webinar that was held on Thu., Dec. 6, 2018, at 6:00 PM EST. In this video, Drs. Steve Kress and Don Lyons from Project Puffin/Seabird Restoration Program shared insight about what Puffins and Arctic Terns can teach us about climate change. There were also other guest speakers from National Audubon Society.
This presentation shares a strong message, which is that we can't be silent on coastal issues. One of the most important ocean conservation laws, the Magnuson-Stevens Act, has been under attack. This law protects fish, the primary food source for coastal birds like Least Terns and Atlantic Puffins. By working together, our hope is that we can stop these attacks and expand protections for all coastal birds.
