The Good
-Constant movement in midfield. Players are always available for passes in central areas
-Wingers exploit the half space effectively
-Fullbacks always have spaces in wider areas to run into
-Attackers are always willing to exploit the spaces beyond the opposition defence
-Pressing the ball OUT OF POSSESSION is very effective. Opposition finds it difficult to make the right pass
-Cms runs from deep
-Great Aerial presence
-Attackers are clinical in the box

The Bad
-Slow transition from defence to attack
-Gattuso's system requires alot of stamina. Players become fatigued at the ending stages of the match
-Commits too many players forward
-Opposition attackers find it east to exploit the channels in-between the defence
-Struggles against teams who play a low block
-Struggles against teams who play on counter attack
