Facilitated by the UNFPA Asia-Pacific Regional Office and with support from Zonta International, the UNFPA Country Office in Timor-Leste has been working to enhance the quality of services available to women experiencing violence, and the coordination between service providers since 2020.

The programme aims to ensure that survivors of gender-based violence will have more effective support for their long-term recovery and improved opportunities to leave the cycle of violence.
