the lay-up procedure is carried out entirely by hand, wherein the operator both cuts the lengths of tape and then positions them in the desired orientation on the tooled surface.
first of all, a release gel is sprayed on the mould surface to avoid the sticking of polymer to the surface. second layer is then placed on the polymer surface, and a roller is moved with a mild pressure to remove any air trapped. this process is repeated for each layer till the required layers are stacked.
