Join me for a half-day deep-water rock fishing trip departing from H&M Landing in San Diego, California. We'll be fishing at depths of 500 to 700 feet and can expect to catch plenty of good-quality fish, both singles and doubles. In the morning, we'll be using a two-hook dropper loop with a 16oz weight, and in the afternoon, we'll be dropping the weight. I had great success using the LingCod Jig and Fishing Armory jig as my weight on two different setups. For the second hook, I used a classic orange and brown feathered hook and a plastic sand dab.
