Heavy rains wrecked havoc in Karnataka. Warning of heavy rainfall in the state for the next few days. Kapila river in Mysore and Varada river is overflowing at full speed. Connectivity to nearly 7 villages have been impacted in the Shivamogga district. 63 villages have been moved to North Karnataka. There are also landslides reported in some places after the landslide in Kodagu, Karnataka. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai visited on the damage. CM also says that there is no shortage of funds for the rescue and relief work. The most affected area and districts in Karnataka are Mysore, Chikkamagaluru, Udupi, Shivamogga. Rescue operations are in progress in the affected areas.
