This Class D #7 10 X 12 Erie Engine Works steam engine project was started in 2005. The intent was to haul the engine and a suitable boiler on a custom trailer to engine shows. Clearer thinking has revealed a 10ft tall vertical boiler is not the best thing to be driving around with with stability being the concern. In all likelihood the engine will be removed from the trailer and the trailer will be repurposed possibly with another engine and boiler configuration.
