Culturedog Sam Hatch knows that LaserDisc players are very similar to the titular gremlins from the 1984 Joe Dante classic – pour water on them and watch them multiply before your very eyes. Hence, a small, modest stack of units has since evolved into a full-fledged fleet.
And now a Pioneer Elite player has finally joined the flotilla. Featuring double-sided play, digital video effects and extreme shininess, the CLD-59 brings a lot of fun to the table. Literally in this case, as it’s currently dominating Sam’s dining room. Let’s check this beast out and take it for a spin!
