Today on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler we'll be taking a look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire chains. Part number TC2228SCAM. Keep in mind that this is being used with tire size 25575R17. The heavy duty tire chains give you extra traction and stopping power in snow and ice. The ladder pattern is going to help with effective starts and stops, while the small length are going to give a smooth ride. The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire chains are strong, durable and rust resistant, have a 30 mile per hour speed rating and come in a quantity of two. Now that we've gone over some features, we'll show you how to get these installed.
I've gone ahead and laid out my chains just to make sure there aren't any kinks or breaks in the lines. One thing we also want to make sure of is that we have our cams at our loosest point. We also want to make sure that our hooks are facing out. To start out we'll take our chain and just drape it over our tire. Now we'll go around to the backside and secure that first. Here at the back of our tire, we'll take our links and secure them to our hook.
I'm going to try for the fourth link here. I'll go around to the front and secure that. Here at the front we'll take our chains and we'll secure them together. I'm going to go for our fifth link. We'll loop it around our hook, bend our hook back, and secure it into our keeper.
It's still pretty loose, so we're going to go around and tighten as many of the cams as we can using our included tool. Perfect. Now we'll drive forward a few feet and make any adjustments as we need to. That's going to be our completed look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC2228SCAM, on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
