In this video I am going to give you brife idea about The Bangalore Mysore Expressway
The Bangalore Mysore Expressway is a six-lane tolled highway that connects the cities of Bangalore and Mysore in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The total length of the expressway is 111 km, and it is a part of the larger National Highway 275 that connects Bangalore to Mangalore.
The expressway was constructed to reduce travel time between Bangalore and Mysore, which are two major cities in the state of Karnataka. Prior to the construction of the expressway, the journey between the two cities used to take around four hours. However, with the expressway, the travel time has been significantly reduced to around two hours.
The expressway passes through several important towns and cities, including Ramanagara, Channapatna, Mandya, and Srirangapatna. It also has several interchanges and service lanes for the convenience of the users.
The Bangalore Mysore Expressway was built by the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project, which is a public-private partnership between the Government of Karnataka and a consortium of private companies. The project was completed in 2010 and has since then been a major transportation artery in the state of Karnataka.
