To develop this enduro machine, GIANT has worked closely with their GIANT Factory Off-Road Team riders who push their bikes to the limit. This bike is for them and anyone else who wants to attack. They have revised the geometry and adapted it to the larger 29 inch wheels to create a new Advanced Composite main frame and rocker. This means shorter chainstays, a longer top tube and head tube angle of 65° and a seat angle of 76.8°. In addition, they have equipped their newest horse in the stable with a Maestro rear triangle that provides 146 mm of travel. With the help of a new Trunnion rear shock and the Advanced Forged Carbon bellcrank we have managed to develop a system that feels soft and active but gives you enough reserves to shred the trail. Plus, the Reign Advanced Pro 29 gives you everything a pro-level enduro machine needs: Internal cables, a vario support, our latest GIANT WheelSystem with Boost Standard, and a ready setup for tubeless riding.
Developed in the race
The Maestro rear suspension system was developed and tested under the extreme conditions of the Enduro World Series. A Trunnion rear shock has more stroke and offers a softer ride feel. Another advantage of the Trunnion shock absorber is the possibility to ride longer vario-props. The Advanced Forged Carbon Rocker Headstock increases stiffness while reducing the overall weight of the frame.
Progressive Enduro Geometry
The Advanced-Grade Carbon frame set is equipped with the latest Enduro geometry to keep you in control on even the most difficult descents. The 65° head tube angle and the 76.8° seat angle with a 42/44 mm fork offset provide a geometry that ensures safe handling even in high-speed passages.
29 inch - Controlled unstoppable
Larger 29 inch wheels roll over any obstacle even in rough enduro terrain. Their advantages give you the possibility to maintain your speed on technical descents and to climb steep climbs.
