President Benigno S. Aquino III participated in a roundtable with US chief executive officers and senior executives organized by the US-ASEAN Business Council, US Chamber of Commerce and supported by the Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce in New York.
The roundtable provided an opportunity for the President to update the business community on the progress being made by the Aquino administration in improving the business climate, promoting effective governance and enhancing the country's competitiveness to attract more foreign investments.
A discussion of the steps to further improve Philippines-US trade relations was also taken up with the President and his Cabinet members.
