An impromptu demo session courtesy of Nick Perri, following completion of the restoration to this 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard named "The Gabriel Burst" by current owner "Fried Okra", in honor of former owner Paul Gabriel. Sometime during the late 70s/80s, the guitar suffered two, possibly three neck breaks (at the heel/body) and was repaired with various levels of competency or lack thereof. It was also poorly refinished at the time. The neck/heel was rebuilt during the current restoration, correct neck angle restored and a refinish matching the last photos we had from its pre-damaged state in the early 1970s.
