Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin opened in 1998 at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. So the ride is, well, a little outdated, and many fans have been wanting Disney to give this attraction the refurbishment it deserves. Now with the new Pixar film, Lightyear, coming out this June, following the story of the Buzz Lightyear that the TOY from Toy Story was BASED on, this opens up some possibilities to a MAJOR retheme over at Star Command in the coming years.
