BSF Jawan Chakrapani, who serves at the India-Pakistan border, attended the Telugu Indian Idol auditions. He spoke about how he did not know music but learned by singing at the border during his duty. Thaman appreciated his dedication to learning music in places where there is no mobile network or any facilities. After listening to his performance, Kartheek said ‘Yes’ for Chakrapani. However, Chakrapani declined, saying ‘no’ because he had no pending leaves and had to go back to the border to serve the nation. The three judges stood up and saluted his commitment to the nation. Thaman mentioned that it was a great feeling and honor to witness someone from defense come and sing on the Telugu Indian Idol stage. The promo ended with Thaman suggesting that he could talk to someone from Chakrapani’s superiors to get him on the show.
