Dr. Chen earned her medical degree from Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, followed by an internship in surgery at the University of California, Riverside, and a residency in diagnostic radiology at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. She pursued a breast imaging fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, where she worked with the acclaimed radiologist Stephen Feig, M.D.
At City of Hope, Dr. Chen is an advocate for patient health literacy. She takes the time to walk patients through their exams in an honest and instructive manner. Her goal is to have patients be informed and feel supported throughout the entire course of their care.
