Dr. Andrea De Maria presents a case of guided surgery performed with magneto dynamic technology.
The patient, a female ASA 1, presented in the clinic with a coronal fracture of the upper left incisor, previously treated with endodontic therapy and reconstruction with a fused metal post, due to secondary caries.
In the video, Dr. De Maria guides step by step through the procedure: from the administration of 1:100,000 articaine, to the sectioning of ligament fibers, and the extraction of the tooth using the dedicated inserts of the Magnetic Mallet.
Subsequently, the prosthetic plan is illustrated, which involves the placement of an Osseotouch Conex-k 3.75*11.5mm implant and the delivery of an immediately loaded provisional crown.
The surgical phase includes the creation of the implant tunnel using the inserts of the magnetodynamic guided surgery kit, Dynamic Guided, ensuring precision and conservatism in the placement of the implant fixture.
Finally, Dr. De Maria demonstrates the increase in thickness of the vestibular soft tissues and the delivery of the provisional crown that will guide tissue healing.
*Wishing everyone successful magneto dynamic surgery!*
