INSTANT SABUDANA VADA
Ingredients
1 cup sago (sabudana)
2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
½ cup roasted and crushed peanuts
1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
Oil for deep frying
Coconut chutney for serving
Method
1. Transfer the sago in a grinder jar and grind coarsely.
2. Transfer in a bowl. Add potatoes, peanuts, ginger-green chilli paste, cumin seeds, salt, and lemon juice and mix well. Add 1 cup water and mix well.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll into balls.
4. Flatten each ball and deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
5. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with coconut chutney.
