Images released by the Slovenian Armed Forces show the extent of the floods in the country's north-eastern region of Carinthia after heavy rainfall. "The helicopter crew, despite the fog and challenging conditions, is making its way towards Slovenj Gradec to help citizens that need our help," the army wrote in a statement accompanying the video, adding that "the situation on the ground is very serious." Three people have died after floods and landslides caused by recent heavy rains.
