This season, GenNext winners presented their lockdown-inspired collections at FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week. What stood out was how these labels were able to incorporate their vision and draw from their personal experiences of the lockdown to create the collections.

Raffughar drew inspiration from nature, culture and heritage. Rich ensembles of traditional silhouettes and exploration of the different dimensions of the Himalayan region’s motifs and calligraphy are evident in this collection.

The Sea, a collection by Rahul Dasgupta Label has always been a source of inspiration, as minds traveled along its shores, the collection emerged with each rising wave, till its conclusion into the horizon.

Even with dramatically different designs, there was a meeting of wandering creative minds, where they were able to find some solace and freedom in their work.
