On Monday night, as many as 30 domestic and international flights operated by Indian airlines, including IndiGo, Vistara, and Air India, received bomb threats. Passengers on these flights were safely evacuated as security protocols were enforced. Both Air India and Vistara confirmed that their flights had been targeted via social media. IndiGo reported that four of its flights received security alerts. This comes amid a spike in such incidents, with over 120 bomb threats reported in just over a week. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu emphasized that while these threats may be hoaxes, they are being taken seriously.
