I started a DIY/home decor blog as a creative outlet to my crazy hectic career as an RN, but I struggled to get people to my site. I knew I was putting out great content, but why was I not getting more pageviews?

I knew that I needed to #showmyface in Stories, IGTV or in Lives, but I would always let my nerves get the best of me. I knew the importance of showing up, but being a nurse, mother to two little ones, and owning a business, sometimes you just can’t batch it all and show up when you intend to.

Everything I read, talked about the huge benefits that Pinterest made for them, turning their blog visitors into loyal fans!

With that, I knew I had to invest in a solid Pinterest strategy. I really honed in on my Pinterest game, and I'm telling you... I don't know what was taking me so long because my Pinterest reach and blog readership has really taken off since starting my journey.

I changed my business model from home decor to become a service-based freelancer and it’s been the best decision I’ve made.

As a former DIY home decor blogger, my primary skills were SEO and graphic design (hello blog posts & mood boards!), so it only made sense that I focus my efforts on my Pinterest skills to offer it as a service. If you look at it, Pinterest is all about SEO and graphic design! And those are the two most important elements for pure success on Pinterest.

Once I started seeing the massive conversions on my blog, I then made it my MISSION to help other business owners really crack the supposed "secrets" to Pinterest and help them grow their reach.
