Foreign worker levies for those serving their Stay-Home Notice will be waived for three more months, till the end of the year. This will apply to all S Pass and work permit holders. The Manpower Ministry said it is to help employers manage the cost of bringing in workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. It could especially benefit the construction sector, which relies heavily on migrant workers.
