Can you see & experience the city of Rome in a day?
Well, one of the options for a cruise excursion from the cruise ship Marella Discovery, was a tour called 'Rome in a day', so....challenged accepted!

A very warm October day in 2017, and with an Italian tour guide who was fabulously knowledgeable, articulate and entertaining, a small group of us from the ship walked the streets of the city, encountering the many wonders that Rome is renowned for.
In this video, I've try to capture a flavour of these with scenes of:-
- The Colosseum
- The Pantheon
- Trevi Fountain
- St Peters Square
- St Peters Basilica

And there was even time for lunch, al fresco !!
