The TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 70 SERIES went on sale in 1984. Since then production has not stopped in some markets.
The TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 76 remains an off-road vehicle from TOYOTA.
The closest rival to the TOYOTA LC76 is a MERCEDES BENZ G WAGON. But the price difference is the first factor that removes each other from their circles. The MERCEDES BENZ G WAGON has also evolved a lot over the years compared to the LC76.
Also the MERCEDES BENZ G WAGON is pretty much a Luxury SUV while the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 76 is built to travel to the moon-and-back and luxury is certainly non existent.
Reliability wise, the LC76 blows the G WAGON out of its realms with 10 seats and better fuel consumption compared to the G WAGON’s 5 seats and mediocre fuel consumption.
