We discuss Ben’s background as a self-proclaimed “hired-gun in the 815 music scene,” studying under blues legend Pistol Pete and performing with local groups such as The Medina & Tritten Experience, GENO, The OGMC and more. We then cover Ben’s history as a lifelong 10,000 Maniacs fan and his big breakthrough following his audition earlier this year. We also take a deep dive into the idea of inventing new instruments and what those devices could potentially sound like, as well as play a fun game entitled “Music Maniac” where we discover fascinating facts about Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper!
