DeepOcean UK installed the first full fibre optic LoFS system anywhere in the world, at the Ekofisk Field. Using bespoke installation equipment designed in-house, DeepOcean simultaneously laid and trenched 240km of cables from the Volantis vessel. This system is now assisting ConocoPhillips to increase oil recovery from the Ekofisk field.
