Turkey is under pressure from the European Union to prevent people-smugglers' boats from making it to Greece and EU territory. In recent months, Turkey stepped up its sea patrols, and deaths fell by two thirds from January's all-time peak. But crossings still continued. Ayla Albayrak reports.
