The first Vervaet Hydro Trike self-propelled slurry injector went into production in 1991. By 1998 there had been some changes, including a new Claas Vista cab and a heavier-duty Omsi mechanical rear axle, as shown by this example. It has a 300hp 11.6-litre DAF 1160 engine (originally developed from the Leyland 680), hydrostatic transmission and a 14m3 (14,000l) slurry tank and is working with an 8.4m Schuitemaker disc injector.
