Desperate in Dock Town Quest:

When you're ready, head to the east side of the catacombs, just across the zipline, to fight the Desperation demon. It will be accompanied by a bunch of other demons so make sure you take focus on taking them down first. After you've defeated the boss, you'll have successfully completed this quest.
