An example of Slab Straight Cut using Lapitec blade. The saw blade diameter must be selected according to the machine features.
- Slow the feed rate down to 50% at the beginning and end of each cut
- Direct plenty of water to the front and sides of the blade
- Always block the saw blade using a flange and a counterflange suitably dimensioned
- Rinse the surface copiously with clean water before the workpiece has dried
