Sandra Dugdale is a Principal Study Tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Born in Yorkshire, Sandra studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and made her professional debut with Glyndebourne Touring Opera. She has gained wide recognition for her distinctively high and flexible soprano voice. She has sung over eighty roles with leading British, European and American opera companies in a repertoire ranging from Monteverdi to Janacek, including eight years as a principal for English National Opera. Her Royal Opera debut was as Le Feu in L'enfant et Les Sortileges.
