In today's video we take a look at the Ugly Stick GX2 Fishing combo. It is a very interesting setup with a 4 piece rod, and a open face reel all contained in a handy carrying case. First look seems like a perfect compact option for camping, backpacking, throwing in a tool box for that occasional time you just drive by a waterway and feel like casting a line, or just a nice little setup for that quick fishing trip getaway. I can see lots of potential for this little setup, but first I want to show you what comes in the package, how much it costs, and share this item with you all. It seems far superior to other compact poles that collapse or are the size of a child's pole. This is a full length 6 foot pole that can give you lots of fun at the river or lake. As an added bonus, I took a little Wal-Mart shopping trip to buy some new bait and a compact tackle box that would go great with this pole. I think I may have made up the best lightweight and compact fishing kit I have ever owned, and maybe this will give you some ideas of your own to get yourself back out and enjoy some peace and quiet in the outdoors.
