I walked across the sea from Piel Island to Walney Island for my 4th challenge for 2022 raising money for The Alzheimer’s Society! The journey consisted of trekking along the sand and mud until we finally reached Piel Island. This was such a brilliant experience and we even has an insightful tour of Piel Island, learning the history and heritage of the land and the habitat that lived on it. We even found a Shark egg case known as a Mermaid's Purse. My mum joined me on this adventure! we both thoroughly enjoyed! #cumbria #dementia #castle #island #fundrasing #pielisland #walking
