As a volunteer for UNICEF on Campus Cardiff Uni, tomorrow, I will take part in the Live Below the Line Challenge which consists in living off just £1 per day for food for 5 days . I can already assure you that I've already had a headache thinking about this week's menu.


As you can imagine my 'diet' won't be very varied but I made the choice to live like that during these next 5 days. According to the World Bank, 1.4 billion people in our world are living under extreme poverty which means that they have less than £1 per day to live off. Extreme poverty is obviously the main cause of developing issues in the South provoking malnutrition, spreading diseases faster... Thus I decided to get involved with UNICEF to diminish the consequences of extreme poverty.
